Tasting Notes: In honour of our dog and official mascot Sukocchi (pronounced Soo-Koh-Chee - Japanese for Scotch Whisky), this is our Japanese influenced smoked whisky, black cherry and orange sauce that is unlike any hot sauce you've ever had before. Under the notes of heavily smoked Scotch whisky and smoked Japanese whisky, we've rounded out our call to Japan by adding in the amazingly sweet and floral cherry blossom powder, and a slight citrusy finish with yuzu juice. With the addition of smoked ghost peppers, and smoked paprika, and warm spices, you will experience a beautifully balanced smoky hot sauce that will have your barbecue dancing! This is a low level heat, and is one of the most delicious sauces you will ever have!

 

Pairs well with barbecued ribs, chicken, turkey with stuffing, steak, deli meat sandwiches and wraps, macaroni and cheese, ice cream and desserts, & salads!


Ingredients: Dark sweet cherries, *apple cider vinegar, white vinegar, oranges, honey, maple syrup, red onion, *lime, smoked whisky distilled (malted barley, water, yeast), garlic, liquid smoke concentrate (water), brown sugar, smoked paprika, *olive oil, allspice, ginger, cherry blossom powder, cinnamon, smoked Bhut Jolokia peppers, yuzu extract, Himalayan pink salt, black pepper. *Organic
